Nicholas Cassar SJ

Madly in love with all things ‘science’, Nicholas begrudgingly narrowed down his studies to medicine and research – but the Lord took pity on his patients, and called him to the Society of Jesus, where his confrères suffer heroically his sporadic lectures and are slowly trying to convert him to the Roman Culinary faith. In the hope of knocking some sense into him, he was sent to grapple with the intricacies of philosophy in Rome, where he has so far learnt that he knows nothing and is likely to know far less in future. Nurturing a passion for nature, his other loves include Ignatian spirituality, indie rock, long walks, Maltese qassatat and the art of education.
